Fuquay-Varina, NC – DWCommunications, LLC will serve on the Willie E. Gary Triangle Classic Committee. The first annual football classic between North Carolina Central and Shaw University will take place Saturday September 17, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. at O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium in Durham, NC. DWCommunications will consult on all activities dealing with the classic and will "produce" the halftime festivities as well as post game festivities.

Gary Classic in Jacksonville, FL since its inception in 2002. Halftime will consist of two of Mr. Gary's sons, Kenneth and Sekou, presenting a check for $100,000 to North Carolina Central University. His other two sons, Kobe and Ali, will present a $100,000 check to Shaw University. Mr. Gary will also be presented with keys to the city of Durham and Raleigh by Mr. Bill Bell, Mayor of the City of Durham and Dr. James West, Mayor Pro-Tem of the City of Raleigh, respectively. The North Carolina Central University Marching Band as well as the Shaw University Platinum Sound Marching Band will then perform. Post game will consist of the awarding of the Most Valuable Player awards from each team as well as the Willie E. Gary Classic trophy to the winning team.
